Covid-19 Current situation in Pakistan
COVID-19 outbreak was first time experienced in the Wuhan City of China at the end of December 2019.Which spread quickly in China and then all over world almost in 209 countries such as America, Europe, Australia and Asia including Pakistan.
There are more than 4 hundred 76 thousand mortalities and 9.2 million or more individuals have been affected around the world, while figure increases quickly. Various steps have been taken worldwide for the control of COVID-19.
When we talk about Pakistan, The first case of this virus was confirmed to have reached on 26 February 2020 in Karachi sindh province. In 18th March, cases had been registered in all four provinces.
Current situation with stats
According
to the Ministry of Health, government of Pakistan, there are total of 188,926 confirmed positive cases
in the country with 3,337 critical and 3,755 mortalities on Tuesday, june
24, 2020.
The highest cases appeared in the Sindh province (72,656) followed by Punjab (69,536), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (23,388), Balochistan (9,634), Gilgit baltistan (1,337), Federal (11,483) and Azad Jammu &
Kashmir have (892) confirmed cases.
To
date, the highest number of mortalities occurred in Khyber pakhtunkhwa with (855), followed by Punjab (1,516), Sindh (1,124), Federal (108)Gilgit Baltistan (23),
Balochistan (106) and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (23).
A total of 73,471 infected people have been recovered in Sindh province 37,044, followed by KP (6,869), Balochitsan (3,670), and Punjab (19,580) GB (946) Federal (5,012) and AJK have (350) recoveries till date as summarized in Table by the govt.of Pakistan. The mortality rate in Pakistan is 5% and recovery rate is 95%.

Now Pakistan is having 14th highest number of coronavirus cases in the world, which is alarming situation for all Pakistanis. Govt. of Pakistan is taking all necessary and precautionary step to prevent country free from this epidemic.
